Stockton Hicks is an experienced horticulturist with a strong background in greenhouse management, crop production, and pest control. As the Assistant Grower at North Country Growers, he leverages his expertise in irrigation, fertigation, and crop health management to ensure optimal growth conditions and efficient greenhouse operations. He excels at monitoring plant health, addressing pest and disease issues, and maintaining a thriving environment for plants.
Previously, Stockton served as a Section Grower at Cavicchio Greenhouses, where he managed irrigation and fertility strategies for annual and perennial crops and implemented Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices. His hands-on experience in pest identification and control allowed him to keep crops healthy while meeting production deadlines.
With leadership experience at Santa’s Village in Jefferson, NH, where he managed large-scale flowerbed installations, and as the owner of a retail greenhouse business in New Hampshire, Stockton has honed his skills in plant care, customer relations, and business management. His formal education in Sustainable Horticulture from the University of Massachusetts Amherst further supports his expertise, making him a valuable asset to North Country Growers.
