As a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Operations and various engineering licenses, including Second Assistant Engineer (unlimited) in motor, steam, and gas turbine systems.

Earlier in his career, Justin worked in construction at Berlin Water Works, where he enhanced his troubleshooting skills and developed strong leadership capabilities. Prior to North Country Growers, he flourished as an Engineer at Kirby Offshore Marine. Justin managed the maintenance and repair of complex maritime systems — such as diesel engines, marine boilers and HVAC units — while effectively leading his team, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to safety protocols. His experience in supervising personnel and fostering a collaborative work environment has been pivotal in maximizing team performance.
