 Julia Umiker is an experienced business and operations manager with over 15 years in agriculture, environmental science, and land stewardship. As Business Manager of North Country Growers, she uses her expertise in financial strategy, operational optimization, and team leadership to drive success and promote sustainability in Northern New Hampshire. 

Julia spent four years honing her skills in environmental compliance and waste management at Heritage Environmental and Prime Environmental. As she advanced her career, she became Chief Operating Officer at Love & Carrots, an urban farming company in Washington DC, overseeing 2,000+ projects, driving profit growth, and streamlining operations. 

Julia holds an MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology and a B.S. in Biology and Environmental Studies from William Smith College. Passionate about sustainability and local food systems, she leverages her skills to support sustainable agriculture and her local community.
